Cor Blimey Fish and Chips @ Damansara Uptown

We were craving for good fish & chips and didn’t want to go to The Manhattan Fish Market as we found it a bit overrated. With the help of Google, we found Cor Blimey Fish and Chips and the reviews were mostly positive. We decided to give it a try.

This UK based franchise restaurant is originally from the UK and currently they have 3 branches in Klang Valley, that is Damansara Uptown, SS15 Subang Jaya and Desa Sri Hartamas.

Since we wanted to try a few items from the menu, we decided to go for their Seafood Sharing Platter for 2 which cost us about RM72.90 excluding tax. We must say, the food was pretty good. Portion was big but mostly on carbs. There were 2 pcs of Dory fish fillet, calamari rings, fish fingers, crispy whitebait herrings, prawn scampi, mussels fried in batter and lots of chips. The fish items were fresh and delicious. But we were very impressed with their dipping sauce.

For the platter, you get to choose your batter from the option of plain, lemon herb, onion garlic, chilli lemon or western curry. And 1 side either creamy mash or garlic butter rice. And as side be you get to choose from, chunky coleslaw, baked beans, minted mushy peas or garden peas.

You can also upgrade the dory fish to other fishes including pacific halibut, ocean perch, Atlantic cod, cherry snapper or haddock. Of course there will be additional charges for the upgrade.

Overall it was a great food experience. Food was delicious and worth the money. We will go there again if we happen to pass by that area.
