Making wise and conscious decisions in purchasing cosmetics and beauty products is my current preference. I always linked vegan and not animal tested products to body shop products. It’s a lovely surprise to come across Marks & Spencer (M&S) products that are vegan and cruelty-free.
Personally, I wanted daily perfume without breaking the bank. After scrolling for a few days, I narrowed down my options to Marks & Spencer’s Island Escape and Island Sunset perfumes.
M&S Island Escape reminds of summer and sea breeze infused in the bottle packaging. The notes of the perfume is a lovely, fresh, summery perfume. The scent is a reminder of pineapples and sunny days. The large size bottle is much better value for money but cumbersome. However, it is a versatile perfume that can be used for every day as well as for going out.
On the other hand, M&S Island Sunset, it’s a very nice tropical floral scent – not wildly different from others which contain most or all of the same notes including mandarin, jasmine, ginger, vanilla, sea salt, cashmere, amber, sandalwood. I absolutely love this perfume and I’ve had so many compliments from my friends and work colleagues. It’s a really modern tropical sea salt kind of smell and quite different to anything else.
