This unplanned trip started when none of us (myself, KN and my two brothers) had no plans for the weekend. So we decided to go for a hike. However, we wanted a place that we never been.
After a long ding-dong, we decided to go to Bukit Kutu. KN has been here a few times tho. Boys were excited since there are waterfalls and rivers. I wasn’t thrilled about any of it – still preferred my PS4.
Bukit Kutu Overview
Bukit Kutu is a mountain 1,053 meters tall located at Kuala Kubu Bharu, Selangor, about 2 hours of slow drive from Kuala Lumpur. Even though it is called Bukit (Hill), the climb up takes approximately 3-4 hours with a certain steep section. Once you reach the summit you will find a spectacular panoramic view of clouds, valleys and mountains.
Did we enjoy it? F yes! Definitely a fun trip for all of us. Enjoyed the river crossing part. The view was breathtaking. Less crowded – unlike Broga hills. The trail wasn’t moderate in terms of challenging. Manage to take some good shots. Overall its worth driving. It is a must go place for nature lovers, hikers, and even for people who love to chill in the river.
It’s best that you take away something from KL itself, since we did not come across any shops on the way. But there are quite a number of shops in KKB town – about 10 mins drive from there. We had some decent Chinese foods there.
